Product Description
This Dynaroll R-Series ball
bearing is double sealed, has a flanged outer ring, and is made of
American Iron and Steel Institute (AISI) 52100 chrome steel. The
single-row, deep-groove ball bearing is suitable for applications that
support high speeds, axial loads in both directions, and radial loads.
It has deep inner and outer races that conform to the balls that run in
them, allowing higher speeds and creating lower friction than bearings
with comparable-sized roller bearings. The Buna-nitrile (Buna-n) seal on
either side of the bearing fastens to the outside ring, extends over
the rolling elements, and makes contact with the inside ring to keep out
contaminants such as dirt and grime. The seals also hold in a lubricant
applied during manufacturing that lasts the lifetime of the bearing.
The inner and outer rings and balls are made of low-alloy,
through-hardened AISI 52100 chrome steel for durability and resistance
to deformity under heavy loads. This bearing has a stainless-steel cage
to prevent the balls from coming into contact with each other during
use, reducing friction, vibration, and noise, and an external flange on
the outer ring for easier mounting and axial positioning in the housing
than straight bearings. It can be used to a maximum operating
temperature of 121 degrees C/250 degrees F. The bearing has a CN
(normal) radial internal clearance designation making it suitable for
applications where the load and speeds do not result in thermal
expansion. This clearance provides latitude for self-realignment and
compensates for static and dynamic alignment errors. This ball bearing
is for use in commercial and industrial applications including
generators, pumps, original equipment or replacement parts in motors,
office automation, farm equipment, and conveyor rollers.
Rolling bearings use rolling elements to maintain the separation between
moving parts to reduce rotational friction and support radial and axial
loads. These elements can be one of the following types: ball,
cylindrical, spherical, barrel, needle, spindle, or tapered. All rolling
bearings are open, shielded, or sealed. Sealed bearings are lubricated
with oil or grease in the bearing factory, while open and shielded
bearings are meant to be lubricated in place, with periodic
reapplication of lubrication, based on use. The shield protects the
working parts of the bearing from environmental debris that may be
introduced and could reduce the ball bearing speed and lifespan. Rolling
bearings are used in a range of applications from agricultural
machinery to conveying equipment, robotics, dental equipment, elevators,
rolling mills, ship rudder shafts, and aggregate crushers, among
others.
Dynaroll Corporation manufactures miniature bearings
and ball bearings that meet International Organization for
Standardization (ISO), Occupational Health and Safety Assessment Series
(OHSAS), Production Part Approval Process (PPAP), and U.S. Food and Drug
Administration (FDA) Critical standards for quality assurance. Founded
in 1988, Dynaroll is based in Sylmar, California.
